iOS Test Environment
Hey guys. I’ve been doing some iOS test this past week for the project I’m working on. iOS game dev in itself is pretty interesting. It’s not very much what I’m used to which makes the learning experience that much better.
I modeled up a couple of things here of play around with the lighting and such of UDK Mobile. Got to make sure it all looks great on a mobile screen. This is not in any way, shape, or form a final out come of things for this project. As I mentioned this is simply a test so I can play around with some of the iOS capabilities.
I’ll be developing this into a much more detailed space but you have to start some where and as I said in previous posts I’m trying to keep my blog pretty current with things that are going on even with the lack of time.
So far I’m pretty happy with what Apple’s iPhone, iPod Tough 4, and iPads are capable of running. They are really some great pieces of hardware and it’s going to be a blast developing a game for it.
Make sure to keep a heads up for more updates that I’ll be posting soon. Remember this is only a very early test of things and progress should be pretty sweet
